  2. The Past “Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14

  3. The Shema of Israel “Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.” Deut. 6:4-5

  4. New Beginning “In the Beginning was the Word, (His eternal subsistence) and the Word was with God, (His eternal intercommunion with God) and the Word was God.” (His eternal identity with God) John 1:1

  5. Inconceivable! • “And the darkness did not comprehend it.” • Even after John the Baptist “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:18

  6. This Year “NO ONE HAS SEEN GOD AT ANY TIME; THE ONLY BEGOTTEN GOD WHO IS IN THE BOSOM OF THE FATHER, HE HAS EXPLAINED HIM.” The only-begotten God-man, revealed the unseen God. Our tangible, genuine, sacrificial love reveals the unseen God. (1John 4:12) To those living in darkness.
