The Concept “India Learns India” is an initiative launched by MGPL to increase the awareness and understandingamong students inschools and colleges about our Heritage, Culture, Ancientsciences and the History of India. With this initiative, we are aiming at producing, well- researched, documentaries on DVD. These documentaries Willthen be on offer to all the schooland collegelibraries Free-of-Charge.

The Concept A look at the curriculum and subjects followed in most schools shows us that great emphasis has been, rightly, given to subjects like science, mathematics, botany, biology,physics, chemistry, etc. But the Indian school student learns very little about India’s Heritage, Culture, Arts, Ancient Sciences and History.

The Concept We at “India Learns India” are working on thepremise that if every student is familiar with theabove topics we will becreating a generation ofyoung Indians who will becomeambassadors of ourheritage. They will travel and study all overtheworld and always stand tall with the knowledge that they belong to a country and civilisation that isancient and rich. The strength of our civilisation isseen by the fact that only a fewancient civilisationshave survived today.

5. Education and Technology Educational trends have changed. Today the use of Smart Boards, e-learning, web learning and well produced DVD programs have become established systems of study. “India Learns India” will seamlessly integrate itself into this teaching process.

12. SPONSOR-A-SUBSCRIPTION What We Offer You… the Subscriber…….. A Yearly Subscription of ONE school will ensure that ONE DVD will be delivered to the school every two months. (SIX DVDs will be delivered over the course of ONE year). As on date over 6000 number of schools in 16 states have been selected to be a part of “India Learns India”.

The advantages of subscribing to India Learns India are • By subscribing to a minimum of 5 schools for one yearthe documentaries will be viewed by Thirty Thousand students over the period of One year. • We estimate that the school will use the DVD for atleast three years. This will give approximately 90,000students to views the documentary over this period

14. The advantages of subscribing to India Learns India are • MGPL will also clearly print the name of the subscriber, whomade it possible for the supply of the DVD, on the DVD labelssupplied to the chosen institutions. • The subscriber will be listed on our website.

15. Cost to Sponsor a Subscription A Yearly Subscription of Rs.10,000/= for ONE school will ensure that ONE DVD will be delivered to the school every two months.(SIX DVDs will be delivered over the course of ONEyear.) We request a minimum subscription to 5 schools, to make the program effective.

16. Cost to Sponsor a Subscription One School SubscriptionRs. 10,000/= or US$ 225 Five School SubscriptionRs. 46,000/= or US$ 1050 Ten School SubscriptionRs. 92,500/= or US$ 2025

17. The Process Is Transparent MGPL understands the importance of keeping the Subscription process totally transparent. On receiving your Subscription, the selected DVDs will be dispatched to the institution. We will intimate you as to the dispatch of the DVD along with the name and full contact details of the institution for your records. The institution will also be informed of the name of the sponsor who made it possible for them to receive the DVD Documentaries.

18. In Conclusion Presentation of our heritage information can only be possible by the support of organizations and individuals. MGPL would like to be involved as a facilitator in fulfilling this concept by producing and distributing these programs to every educational institution in India.
