GAA Award 1 – Course Philosophy • Aimed at Coaches that have completed the Foundation Award and have some coaching experience. • Focuses on the further development of the core ‘How to Coach’ skills with an increased emphasis on the ‘What to Coach’ based on the playing group that you are involved with: • Child, Youth or Adult • The Course is divided into a number of modules, with the focus on exposing the participants to practical situations to demonstrate the development of the core competencies. GAA Award 1 – Course Aims • To introduce the OTú Coaching Model and explore the different sections • To provide an opportunity to coach activities to develop Technical Proficiency, Tactical Prowess, Team Play and Physical Fitness • To further develop the ‘How to Coach Skills’ Presentation title in footer
