Purpose & Approach • Purpose of the workshop: • Offer an extensive understanding of the discipline of IV&V • Facilitate the identification of best engineering practices and the needed advancements in applying IV&V on NASA’s critical system software. • The outcome of the workshop the development of a Technology Roadmap that will be used in planning and prioritizing IV&V engineering enhancements • Approach • Morning = Presentations relating to IV&V • Afternoon = Break out into working groups • When signing up in the morning you will be assigned to a group • Each group discuss the morning topics in greater detail and/or other topics needed to be addressed • Focus of the group: Best practices, challenges, lessons learned • End of the day = Working groups summary
