Create a 5-slide PowerPoint about your group’s assigned topic with which you will use to teach the class • BE CREATIVE: use lots of IMAGES and few words – NO complete sentences • All words must be at least 30 point font • The slides must be visually appealing • You can use noise/music as long as it is appropriate • You may use note cards • Project your voices!!! Practice & know how to pronounce everything

Create 3 multiple-choice test questions about your topic – do not make the wrong answers obvious – type these in Word and print them out. Make sure the answers for all three questions are smoothly integrated into your presentation.

McCarthyism & The Crucible • First, investigate McCarthyism using this worksheet • Second, read about how McCarthyism is in The Crucible by typing in “The Crucible” into the Worldbook Online which is linked to the media center website in the virtual library. Presentation: 1. Explain McCarthyism to the class with the answers you found to the worksheet 2. Explain to the class how Arthur Miller wrote The Crucible as a veiled (hidden) criticism of McCarthyism.
