NCAR Junior Faculty Fellowship and Exchange Program • To involve early-career faculty in research with NCAR scientists and in new initiatives • Begin in FY 2005 ($150k/year budgeted) • Support early-career faculty visits to NCAR, with students (typically for a few days to a few weeks) to: • Sample NCAR’s intellectual environment • Learn about & utilize NCAR resources • Develop collaborations with NCAR staff • Contribute to models & strategic initiatives
