Degas- Little Dancer • Created many paintings and sculptures of dancers • Exhibited a sculpture only once to poor reviews because it was the first multimedia artwork out of wax, fabric and paint in a art scene that wanted bronze and marble sculptures • After his death they found over 150 multimedia sculptures that Degas thought would disintegrate before anyone could see them • After his death people decided to cast his sculptures in bronze, but tried to get the original feeling by using fabric
