Interpretation Notes • Wealth (1990-2000s): • Catalonia has been the 3rd wealthiest region in Spain (out of 17) • Castilla-La Mancha and Galicia have ranked 13th and 14th (out of 17) • Regional Identity • Catalonia comes first and Galicia second, although quite mobilized too • Castilla-La Mancha historically belongs to mainstream Castilian Spain • Competences (Powers) • Catalonia and Galicia among those with more powers (but Galicia less than Catalonia in terms of per capita public budget) • Castilla-La Mancha has less historically less powers and budget, although a decade ago it was assimilated to a large extent to the other two E.
