We want them to be able to use their English in order to *reflect * analyze *interact * create * collaborate * use information tools *make judgments
We want them to be able to interact effectively in social situations.
We want them to be “Native Technology Users”in the field of English.
We will be able to provide them with all these capabilities......
*pupils are exposed to varied teaching styles *teachers cater for different levels and different learning styles by using differential teaching methods.
*learners are exposed to authentic English in a variety of situations * the lessons are conducted in English
*schools have a meaningful, dynamic and up to date English department
*English teachers set up active English Centers and libraries
*teachers use the School File in order to be accountable and as part of raising professional standards
*counseling is used to the best advantage as an integral part of co-teaching and professional development.
*principals and teachers participate in ongoing development programs
*principals and teachers: • Prepare for National Tests (both internal and external Meitzavim) • analyze in depth their purpose and importance • make sure they provided a language rich environment • plan for the date • share their feelings with co – teachers and pupils • review the Table of Specifications • clarify school policies
*principals utilize part of the school budget in order to enrich their pupils’ use of the English language outside of the classroom by providing activities and programs such as afternoon clubs, theatre groups, non–readers support systems, etc.
*principals provide ideal learning conditions for pupils, avoiding double lessons in the weekly timetable and so that learners have daily exposure to English throughout the week by ensuring lessons are given.
