Parents Right To Know Annual Notification Title I-served buildings Parents may request the professional qualifications of their student’s classroom teacher(s)
Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) Notifications sent to parents of children in Title I schools If taughtfour or more consecutive weeks by a teacher who is not highly qualified
Parent Notification For Limited English Proficient (LEP) Students District notifies parents of participating students in LEP programs
District Improvement (DI) andSchool Improvement (SI) Status Notifications/letters no longer have to be sent to parents upon DI/SI identification
Targeted Assistance (TA) Programs Eligibility list Service specific students who are at-risk of failing: Multi-criteria

Building Capacity • SHALLeducate school staff in the value and utility of contributions of parents
Building Capacity • SHALLcoordinate and integrate with other parent programs, activities and community groups
SHALL ensure information is sent to parents of the participating children in a format and language the parents can understand Building Capacity
