  2. UCSF campus life • Campus life at UCSF is very interesting. • They have many events and clubs to go for. • UCSF mainly focuses on medical care

  3. Diversity • They are a multicultural school. Not just as a school, but their patients as well. • 36% women • 64% men

  4. Events • UCSF has many events going on. They have a lot of dances, and concerts. They do them in honor to celebrate several things.

  11. Programs • The school of Medicine (pharmacy) it’s also known for dentistry • UCSF Medical Center? Is one of the top 10 hospitals • They have clinical laboratories which have to do with health and respiratory problems

  12. Athletics • They don’t have big leagues. Only like club and community things. • This school has no sports. Therefore they have no mascot. Some consider their mascot to be the golden bears. • UCSF does have a recreational center. So they do play sports there. It’s also open to the youth.

  13. Arts program • They have an art program called art for recovery. • It’s where adults can express their feelings that have come from their illnesses. They try to make them feel good and secure, by giving them a safe environment

  14. History • UCSF traces its history to Dr. Hugh H. Toland, a South Carolina surgeon who found great success and wealth after moving to San Francisco in 1852. • The school began to associate with Toland and they created a new school.
