  4. CSSB Mission • Provide command and control of assigned and attached units providing area support logistics operations and limited distribution operations in its assigned AO. UNCLASSIFIED

CSSB Capabilities • Provide equipment maintenance support which is tailorable to units assigned its area of support. • Provide Class I support. • Provide multiple SSA capability with Class II, III(p), IV, VII and IX. • Provide transportation support within the AO for local haul. • Capable of distribution operations within an assigned AO. • Establish and operate a Convoy Support Center • Provide field services including shower, laundry, and clothing repair • Stuff/Unstuff containers during container operations. • Assignment (Echelon): To a Sustainment Brigade. AIRDRP SPT SUPPLY AMMO TRANS WATER FIELD SVC MA FUEL MAINT CSSB Design I I CSSB Organic Assigned HHC Task Org based on: JSCP, TRO, Stationing and / or Specific Operations • MISSION: • Assigned to a Sustainment Brigade; Receive and employ modular logistics units in support of its mission • Provide C2 and administrative support for all organic and attached units. • Plan, coordinate, synchronize, monitor, and control logistics operations within its assigned Area of Operation (AO). • Provide common user logistics (e.g. Class I, III, V, inland transportation, etc.) within the limits of its capabilities, for joint or multinational forces as directed.
