Preparation • Place Halter on the horse • Attach a lead rope • Lead the horse to safe location • Tie up the horse
Acquire the necessary grooming supplies • Curry comb • Hard-bristled brush • Soft-bristled brush • Hair comb • Hoof pick
Curry Comb • Approach the horse • Circular motion • Whole torso and neck • Brings the dirt to the surface
Hard-Bristled Brush • Approach from the side • Brush downwards • “Flicking” motion • Brush the whole body • Never brush the face
