DC Major League Ballpark: Progress and Accomplishments • More than $170 million in contracts awarded to-date to 80 different LSDBE contractors, with another $30 million soon to be awarded, exceeding 50% goal. • 646 DC residents hired to-date, 574 (50.1%) of whom are new hires – just shy of 51% goal. • 149,134 total hours (78%) of all apprentice hours worked as of 8/31/07 worked by DC residents, significantly exceeding 50% goal on a craft-by-craft basis. • 245 of 270 new apprentices (91%) employed thus far to work on Ballpark have been DC residents.
