Evangelism Made Personal 1) Create An Edifying Congregation • Why this is important • Confirms our claim to be disciples • Makes us useful to the Lord • Prepares us for what is to come Action steps to take • Greet one another by name • Practice hospitality • Every member, every service, on time

  4. Evangelism Made Personal 2) Make A Prayer List Why this is important • A “to do” list gets things done • Provides a sense of focus • Constantly reminds us of our task Action steps to take • List the names of 5-10 souls • Pray for them daily • Pray for opportunity, wisdom, boldness

Evangelism Made Personal 3) Invite Them To Church Why this is important • To see a caring congregation • To provide opportunities to hear • More likely to remain faithful Action steps to take • Pray for boldness, wisdom, then invite • Be friendly to all visitors • See that they are exposed to the gospel

Evangelism Made Personal The Benefits Of This Approach A natural and easy way to reach others • Create an edifying congregation • Make a prayer list • Invite them to services Even if we do not convert a single soul • We are fulfilling our duty to Jesus • In a way that makes us better people • Better friends, brethren, congregation!
