  1. How eBooks are Beneficial in Education? Bringing technology into the classrooms has had a positive impact. eBooks aim to streamline and enhance the complete learning experience. Students and teachers agree on the advantages as it makes the process more interactive and engaging. Moreover, those days are gone when the students had to carry heavy books every day to classrooms and back home. While eBooks enter the educational domain, one device is enough to include the entire year’s syllabus. An effective learning system must make sure that students are actively involved in the learning process. E-DAC books are tailored to meet the educational needs of K8 schools. These tools help teachers and administrators automate processes like creating and managing assignments, creating tests and quizzes, and grading student work online. Benefits of eBooks to Enhance Learning Study Anywhere and Anytime: An eBook is effortless to carry around. Instead of carrying a bag full of books, it is at ease to carry a mobile device that supports eBooks. Almost all the students these days carry a mobile-based device. It could be a smartphone, a tablet, or even a laptop. The portability of an eBook allows the students to refer to their notes and course materials anytime they want. Offline Access to eBooks:More than 50% of the world’s population has access to the Internet. To make sure that the Internet connection does not hamper the learning process mobile devices, these days, offer offline services. The students can now download any book they want and save it on their device and read them later at their convenience. A Plethora of Interactive Features: eBooks are not just plain reading materials, they have the best tools to help the students make notes as well as highlight content. eBook reading devices have a lot of interactive features such as annotations, pen tools, page zoom, search options, etc. The search tool is the most favored because of its ability to find words and topics immediately. Entertainment Value: The course content does not have to be only text. In this context, it is easy to include music, animations, videos, and audio explanations in the learning module. Videos make the learning process more interesting. The students can pause and rewind the video and watch it again. Watching video content helps in retaining information far better than just reading the same things. Many publishers these days incorporate videos into their eBooks to keep the students engaged. The videos, as well as animations, add entertainment value. Economical: eBooks, in comparison to traditional printed books, are much more economical. The fact that it is less expensive is advantageous, especially for the college students who cannot afford to spend a lot of money on books. It is also beneficial for K-12 grades as budgets are always constrained. Therefore, you can easily make the most of limited funds by investing in e-Books instead of physical books. Environment Friendly: Most people still enjoy holding new-off-the-press hardback books. However, it is not environment-friendly. Electronic books, on the other hand, need significantly fewer carbon emissions than traditional book publishing, something that is essential to most students. Ease of Searching: Another benefit of e-books that a traditional book cannot match is the simplicity with which they can be searched. Even if your eBook has thousands of pages, you can search for a specific phrase easily. You don’t have to turn the page to find the information required. For students, the search tool can be really useful.

  2. Final Thoughts Some people even believe that adding EDAC eBooks in the classroom has detrimental implications. Enhanced screen usage and internet distractions are examples of this. There is no denying that when it comes to embracing technology, we all have the accountability to maintain a sense of balance.
