GEAR UP CAHSEE Sophomores & Juniors Prepare to pass the CAHSEE Learn Test Preparedness &Test Taking Techniques When: Saturdays Starting: Feb. 22nd, March 1st, March 8th, & March 15th, 2014 Time: 8am – 12pm•Where: Hoover High School Breakfast snacks and lunch will be provided. Celebration fieldtrip on Saturday, March 15th, 2014!

  4. Boys Soccer Playoff Game Time Change CIF Quarter Finals Due to a religious mandate of our opponent, San Diego Jewish Academy, the start of the Boys Playoff soccer game has beenpostponed to 7:00 pm. They will play on Saturday March 1st Hoover's Breitbard Stadium

Congratulations Girls Basketball Team • On their 45-15 victory over Christian HS Tuesday night in the 1st round of the CIF playoffs. • This was the teams first appearance in the in the playoffs since 2005 and their first victory in a playoff game since the 1997-1998 season.The team next plays at HOME this Friday night at 7pm against Southwest San Diego. • Come out and support the girls in your red Hoover shirts!

  14. Detention This Week • Detention will be held every day after school in Room 405/Computer Lab.  • Please tell students to enter through the outside door, not the Library.  • Detention starts at 2:30 and ends at 3:30.  • Students must be ON TIME to receive detention credit. 

  15. Memo To: The Class of 2014 From: Mrs. RD, Class Adviser Re: Prom In order for prom to commence, we must have a MINIMUM of 200 senior packages sold. To date, there are far less than 100 sold. If we do not have a MINIMUM of 200 packages sold by March 15th, prom will either be held on campus or cancelled completely. BEWARE THE IDES OF MARCH!
