Learning Facilitator • Keep up on research on change • Model differentiating professional development learning for adult learners, not the one shot wonder • Understanding how adults learn • Knowing what resources are available to help our teachers
Resource Provider • Find resources teachers need • Teach teachers how to find what they need • Teach teachers to think critically about what they are using and doing • Scaffold their learning so I don’t do all of it for them • Build experts in my building
Classroom Supporter • Deep understanding of curriculum and instructional strategies • Knowledge of school culture • Coaching Skills • Communicate clearly and concisely • Build trusting relationships • Respect for all in the building
