Project Evaluation CSCI 64 42 GW ToDo Project

Requirements • Project usable as a Web app • Usable by an individual or a group • Task—CRUD features • Controlled Attributes—some attributes controlled by creator, some not • Users—ability to delegate my authority to another user • Roles—roles such as group admin to create, administer a group • Access control—keep personal users separate, keep groups separate • Delegation—I can delegate a task to someone else • Reporting—Useful reports about all my tasks based on various attributes

Evaluation • Usability • Overall usability is reasonable • Overall integration of functions is reasonable

Evaluation • User Management • No way to assign users into groups • No way to remove users from groups • No roles • No way to delete task to a user • No way to delegate authority to another user • No way to delete a user

Evaluation • Reporting • Print button doesn’t work • No headings on reports • Limited to display of tasks • Long fields are not wrapped so their entire content can never be reported • Capability is mostly just resorting of task display

Overall Project Grade • Overall grade is B • Project can’t be used by groups at all • Reporting function can’t get information out of the app at all • Not all will receive B • Requirement was to make a substantial contribution • Recall that you are all experienced programmers • Last-minute effort • A huge effort was made to rescue the project at the end • This effort avoided a much worse situation that threatened
