  1. Monday, September 28th Warm-up Swish, boom, bam…words whose sounds tell us a lot about themselves. They are examples of the poetic term, onomatopoeia. Words whose sounds suggest their meanings are onomatopoeic. To form onomatopoeic words, connect letters in the adjacent boxes below. You may use the same letter twice in a row or as often as needed to help form a word. Find ten words in the grid, and you’re good; find sixteen or more, and you’re a champion!
