COMPRES Annual meeting, Lake Morey, Vermont, 2007 Introduction Currently in the COMPRES community, most crystallography projects require the application of different and incompatible software packages for various steps in the calculation of the diffraction data from modern synchrotron and neutron sources. Therefore, the automation of these existing programs is of great significance. Fortunately, the automated data analysis environment for reuse of the existing software packages has been found. The automation of two popular programs, fit2d and GSAS, has been completed and tests of the automation program shows that multiple datasets collected from the same sample at many different pressures or temperatures can be analyzed automatically. The Development of the automated data analysis system (CEAD)J. Yan, S. Clark, P. Adams, N. Ross, R. Angel, J. Parise, M. Rivers, M. Kunz, N. W. Moriarty The outlook of CEAD project The input window for GSAS task The Unit_cell_volume Vs Pressure plot The input window for plot task The input window for Data_file task The input windows for fit2d task Conclusion 1.The PHENIX is an excellent environment to automate the command-line software packages while still presenting the user with an integrated system 2.The CEAD successfully automate the data analysis of fit2d, GSAS and data file arrangement. The result from CEAD and conventional technique
