The Darker Side • The war exposed sexism, racism and xenophobiathat many Canadians had to endure • Some Canadians were denied their civil rights and were regarded with suspicion • Some used the war to make huge profits off of war industry • The loyalty and contribution of other Canadians were called into question
Your task • Find a partner (or two) in your current seating group • You will be given a Wartime Controversy to research • Work together to complete the section of the chart (for your controversy only!) • You will have approximately 15minutes
