  2. ISAIAH 9:6-7 6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,    and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the greatness of his government and peace    there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne    and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it    with justice and righteousness    from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty    will accomplish this.

He will reign on David’s throne    and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it    with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty    will accomplish this.

  10. THE MIGHTY GOD • IN HEBREW “ĒL” (from ELÕHIM) can only refers to GOD. • ELÕHIM= the plural for Majesty • Refers to the Trinity of God

  12. AN EVERLASTING FATHER WAS GIVEN TO US • EVERLASTING= the eternal Christ; because He is eternal He can give eternal life • FATHER= He is God • The TRINITY Is also revealed on this name.

  13. A PRINCE OF PEACE WAS GIVEN TO US

A PRINCE OF PEACE WAS GIVEN TO US • He made peace between God an us through His death at the cross. • “4 Surely he took up our pain    and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God,    stricken by him, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,    he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Is.53:4-5
