  2. introduction • Neil Armstrong was a famous astronaut. He had a very educated childhood. He wanted to fly ever since he was six years old.

  3. Childhood • Neil was born on August 5,1930 in Wapakoneta Ohio in his grandparents house. When Neil was fourteen he began flying lessons but they were $9 each lesson. He only earned $0.40 an hour for working in a drug store. It took him a very long time to save up enough money for just one lesson. He got his pilots license when he was only sixteen.

  4. Inspirations • He loved to make model air planes ever since he was a little kid. When he got older he made air planes with better detail. When Neil started college he learned about flight and how air planes are designed.

  5. Accomplishments • As the first man to walk on the moon he changed the way people travel in space.

  6. Conclusion • He inspired many people. I think that he made a great change of how people travel.
