Early Explorers. By: Davis Dobbs. Christopher Columbus. ( 1451-1506). He owned three ships named the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria. All through his life he sailed to the Caribbean and South America exploring new lands.

  2. Christopher Columbus (1451-1506)

  3. He owned three ships named the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria. All through his life he sailed to the Caribbean and South America exploring new lands.

  4. The Santa Maria wrecked with Columbus on it. His partner left him stranded and he was trying to beat Columbus back to Spain. Luckily, Columbus made it back to Spain and survived on the Pinta.

  5. Juan Ponce De Leon (1460-1521)

  6. Juan Ponce De Leon was an explorer that wanted to find riches and gold. He had a very big ship.

  7. When he was a child he always ran around his village and wanted to be a Spanish explorer(and he did).

  8. Juan Ponce De Leon searched around the world to find gold.
