  2. Introduction The SSB stands for Service Selection board of the Indian armed forces, which offers a meaningful career in the services such as the Navy, Army, and Airforce. To join the Indian military has an officer cadre, it is mandatory for all aspirants to pass this phase before joining the respectable academy like NDA(National Defence Academy), IMA(Indian Military Academy), AFA(Air force Academy), and INA(Indian Naval Academy), The objective of some of the Boarding schools in India and Dehradun is to guide and prepare the students to lead as officers. 02

  3. The SSB service consists of 2 stages: Stage 1 Stage 2 03

  4. Stage 1 This phase includes the OIR test (Officers Intelligence Rating) and the PPDT (Picture Perception and Description Test) after you clear stage 1; the candidate moves on to stage two. 04

  5. Stage 2 This phase comprises the Psychology(MANSA) test, VACHA(personal interview test), and KARMA the GTO(Group Task Objective)test. 05

  6. Tests And Procedures for SSB The interview is not a one-day stand and is conducted on a regular basis. Most of the aspirants make this mistake. A lot of them don’t have the knowledge about the procedures and tests and are overconfident. The tests will be conducted day by day 06

  7. Current Affairs Never ignore this subject which is common in all three branches. Stay updated with day-to-day news with the help of newspapers, online, magazines, etc. Make sure you brush up on all topics, whether national or international. Make it a habit to read up on the daily headlines in the morning while having your cereal. Have detailed knowledge of other subjects such as history, geography, physics, maths, etc. 07

  8. Identity Know about yourself and where you come from, so when questions are asked, you shouldn’t hesitate during the interview process. Collect up information regarding your native place, population, governance, and popular figures or personalities. Be frank in your conversation with a calm tone and always maintain good physical prowess. During the group, the task makes sure you are prepared and that you are able to take on the role of a leader. Eat well, healthy diet, and maintain a balanced diet. Have confidence, read a lot, and improve upon your oratory skills. 08
