The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is an international organization that focuses on building social and technical bridges to enable open sharing of data. With a vision of researchers and innovators openly sharing data across technologies, disciplines, and countries, RDA aims to address the grand challenges of society. As an Organisational Member (OM) of RDA, you can influence the direction of RDA, participate in working groups, and receive updates on RDA's work. Join RDA to support the cause of data sharing and interoperability.

Open problem solving is the key.” • RDA Recommendations and Outputs take the form of technical specifications, code, policies or practices, harmonized standards or reference models. In the widest sense these aim for: • Greater data sharing, exchange, interoperability, usability and re-usability; • Greater discoverability of research data sets; • Better management, stewardship, and preservation of research data; • New data standards or harmonization of existing standards.
