  6. COLOMBIA Internally Displaced Persons • 3 million IDPs as a result of civil conflict and violence • Income generation programs targeted to displaced youth at risk • Health, education, housing, training, and food to 306,900 in FY 2008

  7. HAITI ProtectingHumanRights • More than 200,000 children living in forced labor and exploitation in Haiti • Support shelter, psychosocial and medical services to victims • Training officials and community groups to monitor and prevent abuse

  8. EL SALVADOR Remittances for Education • Linking immigrant communities and the largest commercial bank in El Salvador to support education in their communities of origin • More than 45,000 beneficiaries in 70 projects from 2004 to 2008
