Freshwater WetlandsBiodiversity • Some animals are frogs, toads, salamanders, birds ,and leeches. • There are about twelve types of species in this habitat.
Freshwater WetlandsAdaptations Needed for Survival • A plant called a duckweed can float on the top of the water and absorb the nutrients from the water. • A frog can lay its eggs and just swim away because the tadpoles are able to breathe underwater.
