Plan of Action • To address the “Never” responses: • Create “Virtual Backpack” Awareness • Promote access to the “Virtual Backpack” on all printed materials. • Include link to “Virtual Backpack” in email signature. • Be sure that all printed materials are available on “Virtual Backpack”.
Plan of Action • To address the “Sometimes” responses: • Ensure Availability and Responsiveness of Staff • Provide accurate phone and email contact information in writing, on “Virtual Backpack” and on Plymouth Public Schools website for all Cold Spring staff. • Promote open house events and parent teacher conferences to provide opportunities for face to face communications with Cold Spring staff. • Promote Title 1 Resources and Services • Create awareness of Title 1 resources available to Cold Spring students and parents from Plymouth Public Schools and the Massachusetts Department of Education. • Continue Communication of Behavioral Expectations • Continue to clearly communicate and enforce behavioral expectations as documented in the Cold Spring student handbook. • Continue to Identify and Address Individual Learning Needs • Provide additional educational resources to assist students with trouble areas. • Continue to provide positive reinforcement for achievements.
