  10. PROJECTS IN RUSSIA (I) WORLD SPACE OBSERVATORY (WSO-UV) • An international cooperation (Russia, Spain and Germany) to build and operate a space observatory on the ultraviolet range. It will significantly improve the resolution on the UV (Spectra and Images) and after the decommissioning of HST it will be the only observatory working on the UV range. • Science Responsibles: INASAN (Russia) and UCM (Spain) • Industrial prime contractor for Spacecraft: Lavochkin (Russia) • Industrial prime contractor for Ground Segment: GMV • The spacecraft will be operated in a shared-operations scheme between Russia and Spain, with two identical Ground segment located at Moscow and Madrid. • GMV is in charge on the development of the ground segment: Mission Operation Centre (MOC) and Science Operation Centre (SOC) that will be located on both sites. • Expected Launch Date: 2012/2013 PRESENTATION TO RUSSIAN DELEGATION

PROJECTS IN RUSSIA (II) RUSSIAN INSTITUTE OF SPACE DEVICE ENGINEERING • Integrity Concept Evaluation: development of a experimentation platform to test different Integrity concepts for Satellite Navigation Systems. The results could be implemented in GLONASS russian satellite navigation system. • Automatic Vehicle Location and Fleet Management for public services (police, rail,…).
