Communication • Load Fluke software into computer • Connect the infrared receiver sensor to an Rs232 port on the computer. • If the computer does not have a Rs232 then use a quatech DSP-100 G Rs232 interface plug in for the portable computer. • The usb to Rs232 cable converters will not work in most cases.

Right click on my computer to check for the com port used by the jeteye infrared sensor
Check to see that the com ports are active. A is come 6 B is com 10. the Fluke software supports com 1-9
Connect the Jeteye infrared adaptor to the quatech port. • Put the adaptor next to the fluke and after turning on the fluke and collecting some data, send the data to the Fluke by pressing the yellow key and the pc/irsend button.
The fluke will send an infrared single to the Jeteye and then the fluke software can be activated. • Open the FlukeView Forms program only after activating the fluke meter and Jeteye infrared communication sensor. Other wise you will get a communication error message from the software.
Collect Data • On the Fluke press they yellow button and clear memory button. • Press logging button then press logging button again to stop logging • Press recall to look at data • The setup sets the time interval and the type of thermocouple read.
