Access to Training & Skills Improved: range of options available on Seminars & Workshops for members – see new brochure • Regional Issues brought forward: closer collaboration with EFCA; GAMA and ASPAC explore regional initiatives • Young Professionals Offered More: training numbers up; greater focus & involvement at conference; new platform for global network launched
FIDIC signs up MDBs: FIDIC closed an agreement with the world’s leading development banks –> harmonised use of construction contract based on FIDIC => Significant gains for industry. • Procurement focuses on Quality • Late payment issue makes progress
New publications and guides produced: • Quality of Construction; • Risk Management guides; • PSM guide; • BIMs becoming more widely known, and used • FIDIC Contract documents increasingly popular – record sales for the year
