GRID-enabled HDF5 • Goal: Access large, geographically distributed data from within an application • Approach • Enable access to HDF5 data on a Globus Grid • Test with applications accessing very large files • Accomplished so far • Access to HDF data on a globus grid using Globus Access to Secondary Storage (GASS) • To complete by phase III • A running application, such as D2K or CACTUS, using the HDF on Globus
