Thehistory of church Theformergreek-catholicchurchin Komańcza was builtin 1805. In 1963 thetemple was takenawayfromgreek-catholic community and given to polishorthodoxchurch. Greek-catholic community decided to buildnewchurchinotherplace. Thebuildingendedin 1988. Theauthoritiesdidn’tagree for building of newchurch, so community transfered a woodenchurchfromDydyńce.
Thelook Thechurchin Komańcza ismadefromwood. Itisbuilt on layedwithstoneframework. Theroofismadefromsheet metal.
Thelookinside Insidewallsarewood-panelled. Ceilingispaintedwithoriginalpolichromyrepresentingscenesfrom New Testament. Thechurchisornamentedwithbeautifuliconostasisfromtheend of 19th century. In thesidealtar we canseeadorableicon of PokorowaMother of God. Thereareclub-room and utilityroom.
