  6. Under the Hood Library Settings are stored in the Evergreen database and filed by Organizational Unit Library Settings are inherited from "Parent" Units, but "Child" Units can have settings which will take precedence

  7. Examples of Library Settings • Visible and Preferred Fields in Patron Registration/Edit Screen • Horizontal vs. Vertical Patron Display • Select Bills by default on Patron Bills Screen • Hide fields in the Copy Editor • Check validity of patron email addresses
