Air / Ground Communications System Acquisition • Conducted bilateral meetings with potential vendors throughout Summer 2008 • Released Request for Comment 30 Oct 08 • Summarizes FAA's Data Communications operation environment • Continue to communicate with industry on the details of the service acquisition • Developing draft acquisition strategy paper to be released to industry for comment • The exact scope of the service and contract are still under development
