  5. What is the rhyme scheme? Once upon a time there was a toad Who liked to burrow deep into the mud. One day he tried to hop across the road But then there came a car – there was a thud. I bet you thought there'd be some blood and guts, But not our toad! Oh no, it wasn't that. The driver of the car swerved in the ruts Because she'd hit a nail and got a flat. She stepped out of the car in her blue pants Then opened up the trunk to find the jack. And days since toad had even had an ant He hopped into her car to find a snack. The lesson here's when stopped upon the road Be careful 'cause there just might be a toad.
