Improving living conditions in LEDC cities • LO: to recognise how living conditions for the urban poor can be improved • You are in charge • In pairs, you have the responsibility to improve living conditions for the urban poor in Dalifort, Senegal • What will you do? • You have to choose 3 of the following ideas – and be ready to justify them

Your options are: • Buy up an area of land and supply it with water and electricity • Construct a school and health centre • Provide loans for building materials • Provide grants for small businesses • Invest in a recycling facility • Invest in local community bank • Provide free architectural advice
