Let’s Review Equivalent Fractions • Fractions can be equal even though they look different • Example: 2/4 and 1/2 • Some fractions aren’t equal even if they have the same denominator or numerator • Example: 2/4 and 1/4 • Fractions can be equal if they are the same size or same point on a number line • Example: 4/2 and 2/1 Need some more help?   3. Fractions • Fractions are a ratio of numbers • The top number is the numerator • The bottom number is the denominator
