The Cyclops • Odysseus gets Polyphemus drunk, tells him his name is Nobody, pokes the Cyclop's eye with a stick, ties himself and his crew to the bottom of sheep, and rides out when Polyphemus opens the door when they escape Odysseus than brags outrageously. • Read more: “’Strangers,’ he said, ‘who are you?’” What do the fellow Cyclopses do when he says Nobody hurt him?

  3. The Lotus Eaters • These men on coming among the Lotus-Eaters were kindly entertained by them and gave them some food (The Lotuses). These had enthralling effects on the men causing them to want to never go home. But Odysseus ties his men to the ship and they leave. “Now Zeus the lord of the cloud raised in the north a storm against the ship” What did the lotus flower do to Odysseus’ men?
