Announcements • The AoR Charter is posted to the wiki and is available for comment (http://wiki.siframework.org/esMD+-+Author+of+Record+Workgroup+Charter) • Please provide comments by Sunday, June 24th, 2012. • The esMD Wiki site is under construction and in the process of migrating to the new Wiki format. • Everything is still where it used to be, you’ll just see a few changes to the look of the site. • Harmonization meetings will resume next Wednesday, June 27th at 10 AM • We will finish reviewing the AoR Charter this Friday, June 22nd

Reed Gelzer MD, MPH • Dr. Gelzer is currently Co-Chair of the Records Management and Evidentiary Support Workgroup for HL7. He has worked in HL7 Standards Development since 2004 and also worked on EHR Certification Workgroups for Ambulatory EHRs and Privacy and Compliance Supports. He is currently an HIT Policy and EHR Specialist for Provider Resources, Inc.
Scott Rea, VP of Government Relations and Sr. PKI Architect • Scott Rea plays several key roles in advancing the business interests of DigiCert, primarily through managing relationships and developing business opportunities with key government and education clients looking to implement Managed Public Key Infrastructure (MPKI) projects. With his team, he provides both policy and technology subject matter expertise in the design and architecture of emerging PKI systems and works with DigiCert executive management in strategic planning and forecasting. • Rea brings a strong background to DigiCert as an innovative thought leader and sought-after public speaker who participates in, and influences the development of, emerging PKI policies, practices and applications. Rea’s leadership has played a key role in the emergence of DigiCert as one of the leading MPKI providers in the world, with many high-profile clients within the U.S. federal government, leading public and private higher education institutions and other key global industries. • Prior to joining DigiCert in 2009, Rea served as the Sr. PKI Architect for Dartmouth College where he also operated the Higher Education Bridge Certification Authority (HEBCA). Previous to his time at Dartmouth, he provided professional services for PKI integration for Identrust. Rea is a founding member and current Vice Chair of The Americas Grid Policy Management Authority (TAGPMA), a previous Chair of TAGPMA and also of the International Grid trust Federation (IGTF). Rea is a board member and director/administrator of the Research & Education Bridge Certification Authority (REBCA), and past director/administrator of the U.S. Higher Education Root (USHER) and the Higher Education Bridge Certificate Authority (HEBCA). • Rea, a native Australian and CISSP, holds an MS in Computer Science from Queensland University of Technology as well as BS degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science. He and his wife, Andrea, and nine children reside in Lake Shore, Utah.
