  2. Throughout my life I have enjoyed spending time with my family. The simplest thing in the world is using time to connect with family but is easily pushed aside by the materialistic expectations of society. These lyrics from the song Daylight express my spontaneous, unmaterialistic attitude. I can be doing anything with anyone and still have a great experience. This song is all about the small things in life everyone does not appreciate. I find enjoyment in the littlest adventures of life. These lyrics try to express the idea that life does not need to be glamorous and the simplest, most inexpensive possessions can be used to have a great time. lyrics: slip and slide on subway gratesthese shoes are poor mans ice skates

  3. I chose this song as the song to represent my life because Daylight is a happy, optimistic song about life and that is how I choose to live mine. These lyrics express my sense of adventure and desire to one day experience the different parts of the world. My greatest dream in life is to be able to travel and to experience the wonderful places I see in pictures without the frames, in person. lyrics: I hope that someday I’ll see without these frames

  4. My life is so stressful between working, volunteering and school I have no time on my hands. These lyrics imply how everyone is so concerned with time and not having enough of it. In the daylight they allow themselves to ignore the clocks and to be carefree. When I can I love to ignore the clocks and forget all about the rush of society. This song is about happiness and doing the things that make you happy in life. I chose this song to illustrate my personality because I strive for happiness for the rest of my life. lyrics: I have five clocks in my life And only one has the time right I’ll just unplug it for today I’ll just unplug it for today
