  3. Unashamed of the gospel because… • It saves everyone who believes • without exception • without distinction But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name.... John 1:12

  4. Unashamed of the gospel because… • It reveals the righteousness of God • “conformity to a standard” • “right” character or behavior • “right” status

  5. Unashamed of the gospel because… • It reveals the righteousness of God • “conformity to a standard” • God’s character For the Lord is righteous, He loves righteousness…. Psalm 11:7

Answer me in Your faithfulness, in Your righteousness! …For the sake of Your name, O Lord, revive me. In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble. Psalm 143:1, 11

He has remembered His lovingkindness and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Psalm 98:2–3
