Stage Directions • U.R. = Up right • U.S. = Upstage • U.L. = Up left • C.R. = Center right • C. = Center • C.L = Center Left • D.R = Down right • D.S. = Downstage • D.L. = Down left • Always give directions as if you are on stage facing the audience; as if you were an actor.
Activity: Act 2.1 Promptbook • Mark entrances, exits, movements, actions, weather, lighting. • Make notes that the actors would use in this scene on your own promptbook.
Homework • Read Act 2.2 and summarize the action in the Scene. • 5 sentences minimum.
