Setting up a Class • The home page • The main menu bar header (Teal/turquoise colored) • Log –in • Howdy • Account Drop Down Box • Dashboard • Event Overview • Add New Event • Add Media • Class Schedule • Class Schedule/Advanced Options • Event Pricing • Submit New Event • New Event Overview
a. The home page (http://247speak.org/) • Log in • Click the LOG IN link
a. LOG IN • For existing users you will need to enter your Log-in information
b. Howdy • Click on the link that says Howdy ,which is located on the black bar at the top right hand corner of the home page
a. Account Drop Down Box • In the drop down menu click on your username • This will take you to your dashboard
b. Dashboard • On your dashboard click on the link for Individual Classes • In the drop down menu click on Event Overview
a. Event Overview • On the Event Overview page click on the Add New Event link
b. Add New Event • On this New Event page you can enter all the information for your upcoming class • Event Title • Event Description (Add Media) • Click on the Add Media link
c. Add Media • The Insert media page is where you go to add Pictures, videos or any other components to your new classes
d. Class Schedule • To continue setting up your class scroll down the Add New Event page • When you reach the Event Date/Times session of the page enter all the scheduling information for your class • Registration Dates, and Registration Times • Event Dates, and Event Times
e. Class Schedule/Advanced Options • On the right hand side of the class scheduling page next to the Event Date/Times are the Advanced Options • The Advanced Options is where you can decide to make • An event active (Yes or No) • The Event Status ( Public, Waitlist, Ongoing, Draft or Deleted ) • Display description ( Yes or No) • Display registration form (Yes or No)
f. Event Pricing • The session below the Event Date/Times session is the Event Pricing session • In the Pricing session you can Name the type of pricing, for example (General Admission) • You can also list the price and surcharge in Dollar amounts
g. Submit New Event • After you have entered all the required information click on the Submit New Event link
h. New Event Overview • After you submit your new event you will be returned to the Event Overview session of the page • At the bottom of the Event Overview session you will see your new class listed
