  2. Rule 1 – Abuse of Position • Are you able to exercise your official duties on the basis of your own independent assessment based on the facts before you, free from any extraneous or outside influences, inducements, pressures or interferences and does it appear so to a reasonable observer?

  3. Would your conduct create in reasonable minds a perception that your ability to carry out your official responsibilities with integrity and impartiality is impaired?

  4. Rule 2 – Conflict of Interest Would your actions or inactions in your activities outside your official schedule impact on the performance of your official duties and obligations?
