#1.Information about Water Deer • Name. Water deer (Hydropotesinermisargyropus) • Home. Korea, China • Food. grasses, reeds, grains, vegetables from fields • Size. Grown up to be 90cm , 9-11kg • Life Span. 10-20 years • More details. A Water Deer has yellowish-brown fur, with a white chin and throat. They live alone, but sometimes they form small groups. Originally they live Asia, today there are also small wild populations in England and France. Water Deer live close to water: in swamps and on the shores of rivers and lakes. After a pregnancy of 200 days the female gives birth to 2-4 babies. A Water Deer baby drinks milk for 3 months. When the young Water Deer are 6 months old they are independent and leave their mothers. They become mature when they are 1 year old.
#2.Why should we care Water Deer? Vulnerable (VU), considered to be facing a high risk of extinction in the wild. Water Deer is in danger. They are categorized Vulnerable. If we are not care them, we can not see them anymore in real life. And the Earth is not only belong to human being but also all other creation except us. So we have responsibility for them.
#3.How can we help Water Deer? • Protect their home; Water Deer lose their home the reason why pollution of water and reclamation. So, They approach to downtown and express way. It is very dangerous to them, but they have no choice. There is no way to find some food. STOP over developing and using water.
#4.How can we help all animals? • Most realistic and active way to help animals is participating in animal protection group.
