New for 2009 Race Training Skills Matrix • What is it ? • A ranked list of nautical criteria to help match racing crews. • When is it used? • Each time a crew sails in a race, the skipper will complete a scorecard. This will be returned to Raccom for collation. The information will then be used to help match crews, based on their level of expertise. • What else could it be used for? • Training! There are some theoretical and practical opportunities that the club could develop as courses, talks and through other material such as the web-site and the LCSC magazine. • Who can access the information? • Anyone. You can then approach fellow club members to ask their advice on certain aspects of your racing skills. • What will it look like? • This may be familiar as it is on the LCSC web-site!
