  3. Entering Courses on the A13 • Entering EOC Courses (Algebra, Geometry, Biology, US History) • EOC grades and credits are detailed and specific. Work with your Guidance Director/Team. • ATTP and EARN Credits do not populate. • Is this student a part of a cohort where the EOC is 30% of the final grade? • YES=Credit does not get awarded until there are 2 semester grades and an EOC Grade. • See EOC Grade Chart. • NO= Enter the credit. Credits are no longer held in abeyance for Algebra. • Transfer Student: • Is the student coming from an APPROVED state where there is an approved Algebra End of Course Exam? • 30% does NOT apply for transfer students for any EOC. Enter credit as reflected on transcript. • See Approved States Chart. • Entering FLVS Grades • FLVS Grades must have a course number that ends in a “Z” • Ex. English 1 = 1001310Z • BVS • Do not enter BVS Grades. Email Susan Fankhauser-Knight for questions. • MAX Credit Courses • MAX credits can be seen on the C15 • Ex. Team Sports, Psychology, etc

Entering Courses on the A13 cont’d • When you add a course on the A13, DO NOT add or change a flag in the flags column. • The only time you would do this is when adding a 9 flag for a HS course taken in MS. In this situation, you must enter the course first, PRESS ENTER, then add the flag AFTER, when prompted. • If you add flags prior to pressing enter, you will delete all flags that are supposed to be there.

Flags on the A13 • Honors Flag Changes • State Honors= “H” Flag • Local Honors= “V” Flag • Other Flags • 9= High School Course taken in Middle School • Y= High School Academic Core Course • L= AP, IB, AICE (Cambridge) or Dual Enrollment course • U= Audit • J= Student took an AP class but did NOT take the AP test in May • X & I= eXclude and Include for grade forgiveness for high school courses.

CAP= Credit Acceleration Program • Students who PASS an EOC with a LEVEL 3 or higher but either: • Did not take the class, or • Took the class and received an “F” grade • Did not take the class • Enter Course for 1.00 Credit Attempted and 1.00 Credit Earned, Term 3, AS (Assessment Status) =E • Took the Course but Earned an “F” • Enter credit (either .50 or 1.00) in the Earned Credit column and enter the AS (Assessment Status) = E • PERT Scores can NOT be used to CAP Algebra

A22 • What is listed on the A22 • Reading FCAT • Mastery • Waiver • Algebra • Mastery Level 3 or 50 T- Score (Can be used to CAP) • Mastery through 97 PERT score (Can NOT be used to CAP) • Middle School Waiver: Student took Algebra EOC for the first time prior to 2012 school year • ESE Waiver. Entered on the A13. AS Status =“F” • OUT of State Waiver: Student took an Algebra test from an APPROVED state and PASSED the test. Entered on the A13. AS Status =“D” • See Approved States Chart • Geometry • Mastery Level 3 or 48 T-Score • Biology • Mastery Level 3 or 48 T-Score • US History • Mastery Level 3 or 49 T- Score

  13. New ACCEL W/D Codes • WXL= Student graduated with the 18-Credit ACCEL Diploma and passed the FCAT and Algebra EOC. • WFT= Student graduated with the 18-Credit ACCEL Diploma and passed the FCAT or Algebra EOC with a SAT/ACT concordant for FCAT or PERT concordant for Algebra. Similar to the WFT. • WXW= Student graduated with the 18-Credit ACCEL Diploma and WAIVED the FCAT and/or Algebra EOC with an ESE Waiver. • WXB= Student graduated with the 18-Credit ACCEL Diploma and did NOT have a 2.0 AND/OR did not pass the FCAT or Algebra EOC. Similar to the W08. • WXC= Student graduated with the 18-Credit ACCEL Diploma and did not pass the FCAT or Algebra EOC. Similar to the W8A .
